Re: Milestone

You never know a few thousand a year will eventually add up.

A few weeks ago we got this, 202202. The car does less miles but only because we have a few cars.

Re: Randoms turning up asking about a car you're selling

Similar happened to me. I put a car on gumtree and I screen folk via email, dont put my number on the ad or the map/postcode. Whilst I was out a random turned up and asked my GF but wouldnt leave a name or number just said he would come back. Never had any contact and he said he recognised the stree...

That is awesome.

What did you do with the floor? The guy who built my garage left is rough, I have painted it but often think I should get it buffed smooth.

Re: Half price brackdown cover

I was thinking of moving to the RAC or AA as they are better wih modern cars and try an diagnose the cars faults (I know this through works van breakdowns). I have been with Britania for years, have personal cover, so a named car plus any car I am in for my GF and I. I have the named vehicle as my l...

Re: Car Insurance

Car insurers are a nightmare. I think mine was £150 as a daily, would probably get a packet of sweets if it was ever written off though. That is with directline, i manage to get cashback from quidco a few years ago which was worth £50. There is a company called peter s taylor who arent bad for class...

Re: Cold Prevention (car, not me)

A possible reason you get a drop in voltage at the cigar lighter is that there is cables, switches and fuses between it and the battery. The resistance equal load. With the led bulbs. I had a similar issue. I fitted a coupe interior light to my landrover. As they are diodes current only flows in one...

Re: Beware of Kwik-fit

Also avoid using them. A recent visit with my brother clio reminded me why. His tracking was out and had ruined the tyre to the point it was just legal. so 2 tyres and tracking on a clio isnt difficult but like jinxy it was sunday and my usual places were closed. They did assure me that they have th...

Re: Receipt Count

I have book which everything gets put in including fuel. I havent counted it up but fuel would be over £16k, been quite good with regards to parts ad repairs but still adds up over the years. Might add it up one day.

Definitely more than the cars worth, but love our Coupe.
