Well, it's been a while...

Morning all. You might remember me from such meets as "Derby Motorshow; the one where we accidentally went dogging" and "Nurburgring 2007; The one where I copped off with the top-heavy bint Jimm brought along." After a few years in hibernation I had an opportunity to reminisce about some of the amaz...

Re: There's still plenty of time to walk away

Not got many pictures through yet, but here's one I took with my phone. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v439/g1jkb/IMAG0008.jpg That's two of the wedding cars, minus Jimm's. Despite the fact Jimm had obviously spent hours polishing and cleaning his car he went, we assume, through an enormous cloud...

Re: Forum quiet.

Well I've been on holiday for two weeks so I've got an excuse for my recent quiet spell. To be honest though, I've not been posting as much as I used to, but that's not through lack of interest. As has been mentioned in this thread I think the club has just moved into a much more mature phase of lat...

Re: Beer prices,it's getting silly.

No idea Mick but I don't think the pubs are entirely to blame. Landlords are just following simple business ethics to stay afloat. If they get less custom then they need to increase their margins to keep their revenue consistent and pay their overheads. They're working on such small percentages that...

Re: tomcatgeorge has gone

I think someone should post up a link to our thread - where he clearly makes himself out to be living in a fantasy land - in response Mick. We welcome and embrace sane owners in this club, but I wish we could control who buys coupes sometimes because people like that can start to make us all out to ...

Re: Paintballing MAY/JUNE

Hang on a sec, £60? I'm not a big fan of paintballing at the best of times, but I'd do it for the chance to get out there with the club. But for £60 I could pay a lady to dress up as a dominatrix and pelt me with rocks. Not that I would, of course, but it'd be more fun and less painful. I'm worried ...

From the current crop of cars, this gets a vote from me.

£50k for a rebadged Toyota. Criminal. What is Aston Martin playing at?

Well, you asked for it. My list's quite extensive, so I used the alphabet to help me remember. My job helps a bit with this list... Yeah, report him. ebay can be surprisingly good with disputes. And if he's lying about a problem with his paypal account ebay will know as it's their company!

Re: Would we show cars at NEC Classic Motor show this year?

I second that Mick. Everyone should go, if not at least to see all the hard work some of the moderating team have been doing setting the stand up this year. It should be our best yet! Don't forget, your passes will get you in to MPH in the next hall, which is also an amazing show. Rumour has it Jens...
