Re: Ex northerner turbo

Pete spent a lot of money on it and it was a good car when he was done with it. I would say that is a fair price. At the end of the day if all the owners wanted to control the price of the good cars they could...

Re: Another MOT PASS..

It was a tiny bit high on the emissions but had a holed piston before so there is a lot of oil in the cat. It will clear up once it gets hot. Passenger headlight needs adjusting but won't and the handbrake needs a tweek. Can't complain for a £50 car and will all be sorted once it has been around the...

Re: Insurance renewal.

It doesn't sound like you have much to gain Mick. I would imagine your a low risk driver so the policy price will be about as low as it will go. All of my cars are insured with different companies as they all seem to have particular favorites for low costs. A lot of the classic companies say my VVC ...

Re: Up The Rovers!

Thanks for the review. I'd like to drive one as they seem to get a lot of hype but a lot of the things you have noted are things I would find annoying. I like my cars simple! As for having to navigate a touch screen for basic functions that sounds like a way to take your eyes off the road just when ...

Re: This bloody weather!

Far to cold in my garage even the lift and 3kW heater don't make it any more appealing. I have a couple of jobs to finish on the Cerb (maybe 2 hours work) and I have put it off for three weeks now. Maybe the new 60m2 build will make it more appealing. Although the guy welding Rav's car yesterday in ...

Re: What are your plans for 2018 ?

Mine in not particular order; Collect more parts for my coupe to be properly restored. Strip coupe to component parts. Send coupe to be welded and painted. Put back together again. All the above depends on Build massive garage - Planning is accepted, design is known just need to work out the base an...
