Re: NEC 2019 RCOC

Our stand has gone from strength to strength and looks professional. We do need to find a new club posh shirt though. Those who haven't been around for nearly 10 years won't be aware of the difference that small change made to the way the club was perceived and the response we get from companies/ot...

Re: NEC 2019 RCOC

Let's not forget the hard work put in over the past few months by Add/Stace and Kev (and anyone else I may of missed) who got us to the point of having a stand to start with and all the behind the scenes stuff that no one ever see's.

Polishing cars and manning the stand are the easy bits.

Re: A big thanks to...... for car prep ahead of the NEC

We had a good car to start with, it has been loved over the years, we just took it up another level. Thats 2 cars prepped for next weekend, we did Tommy's 2 weeks ago, set up day should be less intense this year, just a final clean and detail and we're be ready. Hopefully we'll be in the hotel bar b...

Great write up Mart, seems your issues are all easy fixes that are down to lack of running time.

Whens the next one ?

RCOC on the Telly

Did anyone watch 'Find it, Fix it, Drive it' on More4 the other night where Henry Cole and Sam Lovegrove built a Chopper ? They filmed some of it at the NEC last November and we were on the next stand to them. There's a few images of our stand in the background and our new banners look great. Daves ...

I'm a fan of coving, all my rooms have it, think it finishes things off.

Looking good though, have you moved in yet (can't remember) ?

...interesting articles like this needs to be published more!!! Yes, we should get this in a pdf for the website, and the other articles featuring Ians Red turbo and Kevs green one. I'll scan them in at some point. It was nice to see a NASP featured rather than a tubby for once though :thumbup1:

Re: Insurance renewal.

I would say the major advantage would be agreed value, so if the car is beyond repair in an accident you get the value agreed in advance not the book price or someone's best guess at a 20 year old Rover. Do you have to provide 7 photo's and state annual mileage and give a list of upgrades with costs...
