Re: Insurance renewal.

I looked into classic insurance this year and found it to be just too restrictive. Can't do this, can't do that. Can't use it to go to work, which I shouldn't need to do, but should Chris' car be off the road for any reason, he'll be using either my company car or Jinxy until it's sorted. Just can't...

Re: POL

The hill should be all right - if you can get up there in the first place. It's going to be the flat areas. I recall a few years back they cordoned off quite a big area as it was a swamp.

Glad your good lady is okay, which is the most important thing.

Re: What are your plans for 2017 ?

Mine are: Fix the aircon (only had the bits for two years) Sort the fuel filler neck Replace/refurb the anti roll bar & rear trailing arms And anything else that needs doing along the way. Whoops, failed on all three counts. None of these jobs have been done and now there's a few more to add to the...

It is a full exemption unless the car has been significantly modified

I wasn't saying it wasn't an exemption, those were my thoughts on what it should be.

Probably not an MOT exemption per se, but a relaxation of the test for a car that only does maybe 500 miles a year. E.g., emissions, not much damage can be done with only 500 miles on an old engine, when compared to a modern diesel doing 20k plus a year. I do think it's important to ensure that a ca...
