Re: POL

No news as yet but it looks like Gaydon is not a option. The bellow is copied from a members post on the POL facebook page! I am purely passing on a request I have received from the British Motor Museum to advise that Gaydon is NOT able to accommodate any car clubs on Saturday in the event that ther...

Re: This bloody weather!

So you have a 800 on the 800 stand so will not need that extra wrist band that I have been promised then. I have a 420GSI exec on the 200/400 stand so if anyone wants to help come and polish my car and/or give me a lift to and from the show on Friday or Saturday, or to the show on Sunday (unless we ...

Re: What are your plans for 2018 ?

Not so much plans but possibilities as I will never get them all done at least not in one year! If I get one or two done I will be making progress. Lets start with at least one that will be achieved in 2018 indeed the early part off 2018 and demonstrates what can be achieved if we all work together!...

Re: 2018 Calendar - Pictures please

Still a few months to go (on the calendar, not this thread). Not sure if you mean you want more entries Dave? I've added a few anyway. I think that is exactly what Dave meant and you may well have given him enough material to work with their. Some great shots by the way and some that I have not see...

Re: New neighbours

Nip it in the bud if you can. The only parking issue with neighbour I have had was when I was visiting my girlfriend ( now long term wife) back in 1995. Never her or her neighbour had a car and the was two unnumbered parking bays next to the 2 flats. I had parked my then just over one year old 220 r...

Re: fix it day at mine

I do not expect to be able to make it as the is so much to do before the NEC but do known when it is. Or at least I think I do unless it has changed.

It might be useful to confirm when it is for anyone else that is interested in attending ;)

Re: Rolling 40 year MOT exemption

So instead of a mot you will get pulled over by a policeman and fined if your car has sharp edges ect , that will make a mot test look cheap.
will we still be able to have a mot test done at the advertise rates at garages?

Re: MOT advisories

Hopefully it goes without saying if it is anything to do with brakes and tyres it needs doing sooner rather than later. Steering will need doing before long depending on how many miles you drive, the same with exhaust. Any thing else you can start planning for but it might be years before it needs d...

I Like the 75. So much car for NO money. I still have a 1.8T Contemportery SE Tourer that needed the head gasket doing, new screen, replacement rear bumper and osr door plus tyres that is otherwise in very good condition, But with 2 other 75 Tourers with MOT,s and Insured ready for use the is no poi...

Re: Randoms turning up asking about a car you're selling

I would not want to worry you but I would be especially after what happened to the MG just up the road from you in Cambridge about a month ago. When they could not move that one that had recently had a 20K + restoration completed they set it on fire. Did the car come back as being the correct make a...
