Re: Coup sold... Ascona now...

The Vauxhall version based on that Ascona was the MkI Cavalier.

We had a 2 door saloon version in the family which was bought new in 1977.

Re: ANOTHER insurance claim question

As the guys above have put. Collect evidence (photo's, google, etc) and mark them clearly with what excatly happened. It does sound like you have a strong case. Does she have uninsured loss cover on her policy? If so, get in touch with them as well as they often have more fight that the underwriter w...

Re: ANOTHER insurance claim question

I take it the 3rd party completely left the roundabout and had to re-enter past the broke white giveway lines?

Re: Insurance claim question...

I've heard tonight that about 2 weeks ago a new law was passed saying that once a car failed an mot it failed instantly, you are no longer allowed to drive it for 14days after to get it sorted.... If the car is written off then they will most likely check its MOT status. ...

Re: Monster hunter in a accident

Sorry to see this H. Hope it gets sorted out. Just to clear up some of the confusion, and this comes directly from a claims lawyer for one of the UK's largest insurers. As a third party insurer where they have accepted liability (remember their client can't as you would invalidate your policy if you...

Re: The SV is back

Long way to go before this project really gets off the ground and the chances are not that high unfortunately. He is going to be dragged through the courts regarding using MG anywhere in the name and he is actually nothing to do with the Riley family and does not have their backing. Would be nice if...
