great build up day, cars looked very tidy, Davva spent all day on the polishers!!!!

Not just me, Add had his running aswell, we had 2 DA's running for most of the day on Carl's (having done Craig's the weekend before), one cutting, one polishing, worth every minute of it to see the paint pop under the lights and see the end result.

If I do say it myself, our cars always look a lot better prepared than most, even if we do leave it to the last minute.

They really did look stunning Dave, the colours definitely glowed and the cars knocked most of the others around them into the shade.

What can I say? Another fantastic show with incredibly well prepared cars and loads of help from Club members. Thank you, every year you step up to make this event possible.

I want to say a particular thank you To Bodge, Craig and Carl for allowing us to use their cars and trusting us to prep them. Also, I want to highlight Dave's exceptional effort with polishing Carl's car, I don't believe he took a break all day on Thursday and his tenacity resulted in a great looking car.

It makes me proud to put on my red and white shirt and to stand by side you all.

yeah a well done to all .

not only for once again putting up with the public for 3 days . but also for the financial commitment

its easily a 300-400 pound weekend per person or couple by the time you take into the cost of eating out . fuel there and back and hotels etc.

thanks for showing my car .

Top stuff to everyone involved. I had some comments from other clubs to us saying that they see our cars as the standard they should be striving for. Which is quite an accolade. Well done Dave for pounding away at it all day (and Add for finishing it off).

We looked good and presented well. Roll on the next one. Can someone get the SD1 stand to drop their sofas in the wrong place again? My knees still don't work!

We definitely need to organise something for next year seating wise. I have the same issue, my knees keep giving out on me. This aging thing is pants!

Coupe seats !

I have 2 in the loft, I suspect others have a few aswell, would be cheaper than hiring.
Make a subframe up and job done.

Aren't we having wing backed armchairs for next year though ? ;)
