The marketplace on The Rover Coupe Owners Club forum is provided as a free service for the members to trade amongst themselves. While the Club has put in place all reasonable measures to protect both buyers and sellers alike, we can not be held responsible for the actions of those using these facilities. In the event that a sale goes wrong the Club will endeavour to assist in the recovery of losses where we can.

The Club has put together the following advice for members using the marketplace:

Sellers:
-Always get proof of posting and preferably a tracking number which you can pass onto the buyer for their peace of mind.
-Ensure you item is adequately insured so that you are able to refund the buyer in the event that the item gets lost in the post.

Buyers:
-Check the sellers post count to determine if they are an established member.
-Request an address and phone number from the seller before buying in case things go wrong.
-Avoid using unprotected forms of payment unless you are collecting the item in person.
-If in any doubt about the reputation of a seller contact a moderator or other members that have dealt with them.
