Car sold?

We are keeping threads on the Marketplace open for longer to keep more of a record of trends, prices, etc.

With this in mind, once an item, or items sell, please post that they are sold, and we will lock the thread, to keep things "neat". If you wish the thread to be deleted, just ask :)

Re: Rover 220 Coupe - Charcoal Grey

Yes, as traffic is far less these days, and things might not sell so quick, so we have turned the auto-pruining on a few sub-forums to keep things alive longer. Also, with ebay ad's staying alive for years now, it was a pain posting a long term relevant part for people and the it going after a month...

Re: Club 2020 AGM Saturday 7th March Coventry Transport Museum

I think it boils down to this,Rovertech went because the guys who owned it would not pass it on and still wont, RCOC,almost went the same way because the owner at the time thought better to spend the our money on his Holidays instead of paying ...

Re: Club 2020 AGM Saturday 7th March Coventry Transport Museum

I don't think I was in any way being offensive by suggesting anyone can opt to be on the comittee, but according to the rules voted on when the club was formed, then you do need to be full member. Of course, anyone can get voted onto the comittee, and then abolish the tenner membership fee, if there...

Re: Club 2020 AGM Saturday 7th March Coventry Transport Museum

I don't know about mention it, DEMAND the statements, to where the statements are, if not step down..no offence but this is shocking..... H Not really my style to go around demanding things, and in any case doesn't always get results..... Of course, there are opportunities for full members to join ...

Re: Club 2020 AGM Saturday 7th March Coventry Transport Museum

The Committee meetings are actually happening each month now (via Teams at the moment!) as i'm sure you are aware, its a complete pain doing it remotely, but we are getting the minutes done. At the next meeting can someone on the Committee please ask the Treasurer to publish the accounts please ? I...

Re: Club 2020 AGM Saturday 7th March Coventry Transport Museum

Would it be unreasonable to request minutes from Committee meetings to be published (redacted as required)? A bit more transparency in what is being done would probably help with some of the tensions that have been aired over the last few years. The Committee meetings are actually happening each mo...

Re: Membership renewal.

I eventually renewed mine a while ago after initially having a lot of problems. I sent payment by bank transfer and sent an email to Tracey. I've not heard anything so assume the payment was received and the membership renewed. You have a PM TC. Anyone else wants to check if membership has gone tho...

Re: Unipart gone into administration

Very sad - its not the main Unipart Group thats gone, but the old Partco business, which seperated a couple of years ago.

So the aftermaket part business and all the other things they are involved in are still going - big employer round here
