I will definitely be at POL but coupe is touch and go. It failed MOT on emissions which has been a problem for a while. Ive been slowly working through all possible faults and wanted to check the timing as I’ve always doubted I got it quite right when I changed cam belt a while ago. Big thanks to Conor Lukeman who came round yesterday as I needed some expert help, he found that the timing was out by a couple of cogs! The engine now runs like a dream! I also found that the horn had stopped working and spent the rest of day tracing the fault to the rotary coupler on steering wheel and bodging a repair by fitting a couple of links through the redundant radio control wire, which surprisingly worked. I was wondering if anyone has a spare rotary coupler they could bring to POL (its a 96 coupe with bubble dash)?
