With just under two weeks to go who else is planning to go or can make it?

V.sorry but I am unable to make it down to East Kirby this Saturday, I said I’d be there and I feel like I’m letting the side down, and I really needed to be there to buy 2 fobs and programmed, see some people and their coupes and visit the memorial. Ah well !

That is a shame but thanks for letting use know. You said it was questionable to start with and might be last minute. We would rather people tried to come to event then update if it does not work out than not come to start with.

Just a thought if your ever about in the north lakes or penrith I can do key fob program also , it always a worry if they are not playing ball .

For the record, 3 Club members came to East Kirkby, but with only 1 Tomcat between us, mine. The other two were driving a Cabby and a BRM 25. Nevertheless it was an enjoyable day out with the Lanc "Just Jane" (made in Longbridge by Austin Motors) taxiing round the airfield several times during the day before being towed back into the hangar. The photo op this year concentrated on 75s with 4 grouped in front of the hangar as I was leaving.

There was a fly past by a DC3/C47 in the afternoon.

I'll be going back next year, hopefully......

A few pics of the day.
The only cabriolet, 200 BRM and 200 coupe there. But still a good day out, seems to be less and less rover's (no counting 75's/ZT's) turning up.
